The company is owned and managed by Harinder Salwan - a graduate in electronics and communication from Nit Kurukshetra. The undersigned has worked with leading companies like Honeywell India, Indchem Electronics, Datamatics and Kirloskar from 1986 to 1994. The undersigned was a partner in trident communications setup in 1991 to promote the concept of multimedia and was involved in launching brands like Creative, Aztech, Multiwave, Aver and technologies like VCD and DVD in the Indian market. All these launches paved the way for the undersigned to receive the title of The Multimedia Man in the year 1996 from the reputed industry magazin Data quest.
Tricom group was set up in 1994 with Tricom multimedia as the first company consequent to the closure of Trident communications.
To focus on the developing market of multimedia software, Tricom international was born as a consequence to the reorganization of Tricom multimedia which was marketing the multimedia hardware and software in the western region of India since 1994.
During the last 5 years operations were started from Margoa, Belgaum, Delhi, Vapi and Hyderabad with representative offices in Delhi and Hyderabad.
We also received the largest reseller of the year 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 award for macromedia from the principals directly.
We have also received the largest value added reseller award from Wipro software products division continuously since 1997 till date.
We also received the adobe rising star award from summit data products in 1999. Tricom international was set up in april 1997 to cater to the growing demand of multimedia software in the Indian subcontinent. We are Adobe authorized reseller, macromedia preferred partner, Corel network partner, Quark amnesty provider and pinnacle preferred reseller for non-linear Video editing solutions. We have been recently appointed as preferred partners of discreet(a division of Autodesk) to sell its leading Software's like 3Dstudio max, etc. In the country wef 01/12/2002.
